This image was taken in 2016 for the Kalymnos Climbing Festival. It was my first “money shot” in Kalymnos, which I felt captured everything I loved about this place… the ocean, the light, and of course, the stunning climbing. This image has stuck with me throughout my career, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever have the heart to retire it. It represents the beginning of a photography journey which continues to this day.
